Anne McAuley Lopez is a Charlotte-based writer specializing in creating content for small business and nonprofit websites. Her writing career began in 2010 in Phoenix, Arizona when she was laid off from her data-related job in corporate America. As she reviewed her jobs, she realized what she loved most, since her earliest memories, was writing and connecting with people. She was networking in a small way in corporate and she wanted to expand that experience.
Her first client was a public relations professional who taught Anne social media, in its early days and blogging for businesses. Since that time, Anne has embraced her love of working with small business owners and nonprofits and now offers website copywriting and blogging services directly to clients and to digital agencies for their clients. She speaks to audiences about her experiences and offers her writing expertise.
As the Agency Content Writer, Anne has partnered with clients in New York, Connecticut, Utah, California, Arizona, Minnesota, Florida, and now North Carolina. She loves supporting firms with the marketing needs of their clients by creating unique, relevant, and SEO-based keyword content. Her expertise includes writing for nonprofits, IT, MSP, placement agencies, travel, accounting and bookkeeping, and home services, to name a few.
When Anne isn’t writing, she enjoys exploring her new hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband and sons. Her hobbies include photography, wine tasting, and travel. She thinks Kauai, Hawaii is heaven on earth and can’t wait to visit again. She is the author of My CML Story, an autobiography and resource for patients with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia.
